On this page I am listing other videos featuring dance band music or entertainers of the 78rpm era, mainly modern compilations of shorts or extracts of major films. I have seen very few of these videos so I'd like confirmation of the songs and music featured.
If you can fill in any of the gaps then please e-mail me.

Remembering George Formby

1993 For the first time on video George Formby tells his own story in words and music. Recorded in 1960 this programme is full of pathos, humour and anecdotes all told in the unique Formby style. However it is through music that it becomes clear why he was England’s most successful entertainer of a sadly departed age. This programme also includes footage of George Formby ‘Entertaining The Troops’. Songs featured:
It Serves You Right
Swim Little Fish
Goodnight Little Fellow
When I’m Cleaning Windows
Chinese Laundry Blues
Leaning On A Lampost
and many more.
