Dick's son Cliff, who died in October 2003 aged 77, was also a bass player and played with many names, including Oscar Rabin, Ronnie Scott, Stan Tracey and Kenny Graham. Of the grandchildren, William and Richard are the only ones to show any real interest in music and play semi-professional. Richard plays bass and in the 80s was quite busy on the jazz circuit in London, including a gig playing with Adelaide Hall. William, now in his 40s, has played drums since the age of 11, his father played cello and his brother Stanley Morrison was harpist with Sadlers Wells and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
